E911 NOTICE
ALL LYMAN RESIDENTS
IF WE CAN'T FIND YOU, WE CAN'T HELP YOU!
PLEASE POST YOUR 9-1-1 ADDRESS
USING THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:
· Always post the number on the structure and on a post or mailbox next to the road.
· Post the number on your mailbox or post on both sides so that it can be seen coming from either direction.
· If your mailbox is located at the end of a private road, post the number and road name on both sides of the mailbox to avoid confusion of emergency responders who see property numbers that appear out of sequence.
· Post numbers high enough so that snow does not cover them.
· Numbers need to be a minimum of four inches high and a contrasting color to the background. Reflective material also improves visibility.
· Property owners who use a post office box for mail must still post their 9-1-1 addresses.
