6-WEEK SWIM LESSON PROGRAM

FOR CHILDREN 3 TO 12 YEARS OF AGE

WHERE: BUNGANUT LAKE PARK, BROCK RD, LYMAN

WHEN: FRIDAYS, JULY 11TH – AUGUST 15TH, 2008

TIMES: 3-5 YEARS OF AGE FROM 11:00AM-11:30AM (MAX OF 20)

6-12 YEARS OF AGE FROM 11:30AM-12:00 NOON (MAX OF 20)

LESSONS WILL CONSIST OF ½ HOUR INSTRUCTION AND FREE SWIM

COST: $23.00 FOR LYMAN RESIDENTS. $35.00 FOR NON-RESIDENTS

PRE-REGISTRATION: JUNE 23RD – JULY 9TH, 2008 AND IS REQUIRED BY CALLING

NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS

PURSUANT TO 36 M.R.S.A. § 706

Dear Property Owner:

Maine law provides that the Assessor may require all persons liable to taxation in the Town of Lyman to file with the Assessor a list of all real and personal property not exempt from taxation that they own as of April 1 of this year. See 36 M.R.S.A. § 706. If a taxpayer does not file such a list, he/she may be barred from making any appeal of the taxes levied.

YOU ARE HEREBY REQUESTED TO FILE A LIST DECLARING ALL REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY, NOT EXEMPT FROM TAXATION, THAT YOU OWN ON APRIL 1, 2002 WITH THE TOWN OF LYMAN ASSESSOR ON OR BEFORE APRIL 15, 2002. FAILURE TO FILE THIS LIST MAY BAR ANY APPEAL OF TAXES LEVIED.

To file a list declaration, you may find the appropriate forms on the Lyman web a link to forms is provided below and then mail them to the Assessor’s office. Or, you may pick up the forms at the town hall. The Assessor’s office is open Monday through Wednesday from 9 AM to 4 PM.

THE DEADLINE FOR FILING LISTS OF TAXABLE PROPERTY IS

APRIL 15, 2009 AT 4:00 PM.

AND FEMALE DOGS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAVE

A LICENSE FEE OF $11.00. SPAYED AND NEUTERED

DOGS HAVE A LICENSE FEE OF $6.00. A CURRENT

RABIES CERTIFICATE AND SPAYING/NEUTERING

CERTIFICATE (IF APPLICABLE) MUST BE BROUGHT IN

AT THE TIME OF LICENSING. FMI, PLEASE CALL

FOR THIS YEAR.

THE LICENSES EXPIRED ON DEC 31ST.

A LATE FEE IS IN EFFECT

AND A LIST OF THE UNLICENSED DOGS WILL

BE TURNED OVER TO THE ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER.
