See 36 M.R.S.A. § 706. If a taxpayer does not file such a list, he/she may be barred from making any appeal of the taxes levied. YOU ARE HEREBY REQUESTED TO FILE A LIST DECLARING ALL REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY, NOT EXEMPT FROM TAXATION, THAT YOU OWN ON APRIL 1, 2002 WITH THE TOWN OF LYMAN ASSESSOR ON OR BEFORE APRIL 15, 2002. FAILURE TO FILE THIS LIST MAY BAR ANY APPEAL OF TAXES LEVIED. To file a list declaration, you may find the appropriate forms on the Lyman web a link to forms is provided below and then mail them to the Assessor’s office. Or, you may pick up the forms at the town hall. The Assessor’s office is open Monday through Wednesday from 9 AM to 4 PM. PUBLIC NOTICE 2008 DOG LICENSES ARE NOW AVAILABLE. MALE AND FEMALE DOGS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAVE A LICENSE FEE OF $11.00. SPAYED AND NEUTERED DOGS HAVE A LICENSE FEE OF $6.00.
